Goldensilk Road
Where rare treasures find their way to the world.
THE STORY
Throughout history, the Silk Road carried extraordinary treasures across distant lands, connecting cultures through the exchange of beauty, knowledge, and craftsmanship. Goldensilk Road draws upon this legacy, reflecting MUYUN’s ambition to bring the world's exceptional natural materials to a wider audience. At its heart lies Goldensilk Wood, golden threads captured within wood, transforming a rare gift of nature into an enduring work of art.
The Goldensilk Wood reveals a remarkable interplay of golden grain and luminous shimmer, with patterns that seem almost woven into the wood itself. At its centre, the rosette is painstakingly assembled by hand from individually selected pieces of Highly-figured Dragon's Blood Wood. Surrounding this intricate composition, carefully selected top-grade abalone introduces a delicate iridescence, echoing the natural brilliance of the golden timber. Every element comes together as part of a journey, from nature's extraordinary treasures to the hands of the craftsman, and ultimately, to the world.
