Mango originated in South Asia and has been cultivated for thousands of years before spreading throughout tropical regions around the world. Spalting occurs naturally when fungi interact with the wood, producing distinctive dark lines and dramatic patterns. Each spalted piece is therefore visually unique, turning what began as a natural process into an individual artistic feature.

The Phoenix Model is Jeffrey Yong’s personal interpretation of the Orchestra Model.Â
Drawing from the proportions and character of the classic OM, the Phoenix is designed for greater projection and a clear, focused response, while retaining the balance and musicality associated with the format.
Its voice is particularly distinctive in the upper registers, where it delivers a more traditional articulation, clarity, and separation making individual notes speak with exceptional definition.
