"PURPLE KOA"
Koa is one of Hawaii’s most culturally significant native hardwoods. Commonly for musical instruments, it is especially admired for its dramatic grain and figured patterns. At MUYUN, we have acquired an exceptionally rare expression of koa, displaying an unusual spectral palette of deep purple and soft pink alongside vibrant orange and warm golden tones. We call this distinctive selection Purple Koa—not as a separate botanical species, but as a reflection of its extraordinary natural coloration and character.
THE
DYNASTY
The Contemporary Classic
The Dynasty Model brings together the familiarity of a traditional full-size body with the demands of the modern player.Â

Its proportions and traditional outline provide the foundation of a classic acoustic voice, while the cutaway and contemporary ergonomics give the player greater freedom across the entire fingerboard. The result is a marriage of tradition and modern function, an instrument designed to feel familiar in the hands while offering virtually limitless musical possibilities.
Tonally, the Dynasty is balanced, responsive, and versatile, making it equally at home across a wide range of playing styles.
